Spa Policies and Etiquette

 

 

Arrival Time – Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete paperwork (spa services). Tardiness may affect the length of eSpalon services, yet price remains the same.

 

Walking – Please do not walk unescorted throughout the building.  Also, please limit walking.  Due to the chemicals used in certain areas, floors may be slippery.

 

Client Confidentiality – Please aid our efforts to provide peace and tranquility to all our patrons.  All information requested to perform services are kept private and confidential.

 

Service Rights – We reserve the right to refuse service(s) to those under the age of 13, as well as any other person or persons, for improper conduct.  Inappropriate conduct or language during a service will result in termination of the service.  We reserve the right to define improper conduct or language.  Other guests/children are not allowed to accompany you during your visit to eSpalon, especially in the service areas, please make the necessary arrangements for your appointment.

 

Lost Articles/Valuables – Clients, please keep up with your personal items during your visit.  We are not responsible for items stolen, lost or damaged.  An umbrella rack is located by the entrance door for wet umbrellas and a coat closet is located in the rear of the main dryer area for your convenience, your technician will assist you.  A tote bag will be provided for your items during your spa stay. (Optional) 

 

Showers – For your convenience, showers are available for use before and after treatments. If you wish to schedule between treatments, please notify the Client Coordinator scheduling your treatment.

 

Spa Attire – Undergarments may be worn during spa treatments along with all spa-provided draping.

 

Cell Phones – In order for us to maintain a comfortable yet tranquil atmosphere conducive to our services rendered to guests, please turn off or mute all cellular devices and pagers upon entering eSpalon.

 

Cleanliness – Outside food products are prohibited inside the building.

 

Payment – We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.  Valid gift certificates/cards are redeemable toward payment of services rendered.

 

Gift Certificates – All services from certificates/cards are by appointment only.  Certificates/cards lost, stolen etc. are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Gift certificates/cards are to be presented upon arrival and cannot be used in conjunction with other special offers.  They also can not be used for products or gratuities.  Only one certificate/card per visit.

 

Referral Program – We are confident you will enjoy your experience at eSpalon and we want you to share your experiences with your friends and family.  For this reason, we are delighted to offer referral incentives to our valued clients.

 

Private Parties/Special Events – We can accommodate large groups with customized party packages.  For parties of six or more persons, eSpalon requires a 50% deposit at the time of booking.  Credit cards, cash, and or money orders are acceptable methods of payment.  Due to the overwhelming popularity of spa gatherings, we ask for at least a month advance reservation.  Spa parties, special events, etc. require a 2 week cancellation notice.  If a notice is not given, 50% of services booked will be charged to the credit card on file (given at the time of booking the event).

 

Cancellation, Reschedule, and No-Show Policy – We require a credit card number to hold all spa appointments.  If you cancel without prior notice more than twice, a credit card number will be required for all future services and any standing appointments will be cancelled.  A 24-hour advanced notice of cancellation is required for all spa and salon services.  Please give us the courtesy of canceling or rescheduling your appointment(s).  If the appointment(s) are not cancelled or rescheduled in the allotted time stated above, 50% of services booked will be charged to the credit card on file.  However, we understand that emergencies do arise, we will try to accommodate you in any way.

 

Medical Disclosures – Please disclose all pertinent medical information prior to being serviced.  eSpalon of Memphis is not responsible for injuries, etc., which may occur during or after the time of service(s).  Please provide all necessary information in an honest manner.  In some cases, conditions and/or medications may affect our ability to perform a requested service.  For the safety of you and your therapist, open communication is a necessity.  We will not massage any portion of the feet or stomach during pregnancy. 

   

Gratuities – Prices for services do not include gratuities.  Leaving gratuities is left to the client's discretion.  Generally, the appropriate range is 15-20% of the total price of service. For exceptional service, feel free to provide a larger gratuity.  If you are unhappy with your service, please let us know.  Your satisfaction is our priority!  Gratuities can be added to your final price and paid at the front desk.
